Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 silicone spatula
  • 2 9 inch cake round pans

Ingredients

In your Blender:

  • 3-4 bananas
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup white sugar

In a large mixing bowl:

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs (make sure it isn't seasoned!)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

To decorate the cake

  • icing sugar (sprinkle as much as you like)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease two 9-inch cake pans and sprinkle them with flour.
  • Get your blender out and combine the wet ingredients (bananas, oil, eggs, and half of the sugar).
    3-4 bananas, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 3 eggs, 1 cup white sugar
  • In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients (flour, breadcrumbs, the remaining sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon).

  • Add the blended ingredients to the dry ingredients to create your cake batter.
  • Divide the batter equally between the two pans, then bake for around 30-40 minutes. Allow the cakes to cool down.
  • Using a fine mesh sieve dust the cakes with icing sugar
